I see all of the choices. But one is missing: “I’m not interested to host my own instance, no matter what.”

I see 10 options.
Other motive: I´d like to offer a self help community.

With Mastodon you can create surveys with a maximum of 4 categories, but surveys with more categories (from Hubzilla, Pleroma, Misskey etc.) are fully displayed and you can vote.
Friendica shows polls and their results, but you cannot (yet) vote (the function is to be added).
Misskey / Calckey can create surveys with up to 10 options, Hubzilla unlimited as far as I know. All federate with each other without problems.

Okay, who of you can't select multiple choices? Who of you is limited to one choice? Which project (Mastodon, Pleroma, MissKey etc.) are you on, and which app (official, Tusky, Ivory, Mona, Fedilab etc.) do you use?
Als Antwort auf Jupiter Rowland

Mastodon on Mona, I see all 9 options. I added “hookers” to my other votes, as more recognition and respect for sex workers is important.

I am a Mastodon user, and I can see all nine options.

Mastodon via Fedilab; I see all 9 & can vote. (edit: vote multiple)
I sought out this post because I initially saw it via a Hubzilla support bot, & on *that* post I couldn't access the poll or your profile, from within Fedilab. The links were there but the only choices I was given to open them were via web. I guess maybe because Fedilab doesn't support Hubzilla, but its 'non-support' still got me here.

@etym dub Fedilab doesn't support Hubzilla at all, full stop.

I've written to them several times in the past. I've asked them to include Hubzilla support. Not even a reply, no reaction whatsoever.

Als Antwort auf Jupiter Rowland

Oh, that's disappointing. I hope they see sense, especially as the field for Masto-only apps gets more & more crowded.
Als Antwort auf Lime Green Gnome

@etym dub @Fedilab supports just about everything, not only #Mastodon. Amongst the *blogging projects, #Hubzilla is the only one which #Fedilab still doesn't support and seemingly completely ignores.

I saw all 9 options.
For me, the main point was to be in control over the policies of the instance. I have the idea that it would be cool to transform it into a kind of co-owned foundation or something like that, but so far that hasn't materialised and I'm not sure it ever will. (Though I do keep a keen eye on the many experiments with co-owned Mastodon instances!)
Until that happens, I will serve as the Benevolent Dictator of this instance, and provide the service to friends.
