I did this post (How to create a PR for develop – see attached screenshot) from my account at friendica-sverige.se to developers@freindi.ca. It shows up here on anonsys.net republished by developers at friendi.ca, But it doesn't show up in developers at friendi.ca.
This is so confusing and weird.

Hello Michael. Thanks for replying. When I look again it seems like it was an "!" to me. I must be missing something 😀

I would love to be able to move forward with learning how to contribute with small simple things like upadating the .ddev config.

I created this PR

But I'm not sure what the next step is.

Update ddev config to PHP 8.3, MariaDB 10.11 and Composer 2.2

Hallo Tuxi! Doris schreibt es gibt eine XMPP-gruppe fuer Admins und Entwickler. Das kling wie etwas fuer mich. Was fuer'n Klient hat man denn fuer XMPP, ich habe das bisher nie benutzt, sondern bin Matrix und DeltaChat gewohnt.

Interessant. Ich habe jetzt einen konto bei anoxinon.de registriert, aber es scheint dass die Addresse nutzer@anoxinon.me wird, nicht user@anoxinon.de, was man durch trial and error herausfindet. Ich kann im webchat einloggen aber nicht in Conversations. Die app sagt "Server requires registration on website" obwohl ich name@anoxinon.me und meinem password eingegeben habe. Dann bietet es mir einen Knopf an "Open website" und ich komme an "/#register" bei anoxinon.de an, wo ich ja schon war und ein Konto registrierte. In einem Loop/Kreislauf...

Friendica auf English

Ich habe jetzt Friendica Sverige auf Schwedisch und jemand hat mich gefragt ob ich welche große Englischsprachigen Friendica servers kenne die man folgen kann.

Ich habe ja diese sehr wohlfungierende Instanz die ich folgen kann, aber für Leute die kein Deutsch sprechen ist das ja keine Alternative.

I've been trying to post to this group and the admin group from my new friendica-sverige.se instance. But for some reason it doesn't show up here.

When I post to @FriendicaTalk it show up there as expected. I wonder what would be different about posting to a group at anonsys and on friendi.ca?

I can see messages in the logs of forum.friendi.ca:

At a first glances I can tell that your server is communication via IPv6 with forum.friendi.ca. But there is no AAAA DNS record for your IPv6 (2a01:4f9:c015:6d88::1).

friendica-sverige.se has address 65.109.12.183
friendica-sverige.se mail is handled by 0 mail.friendica-sverige.se.

I'm nor sure if this causing the messages about an invalid HTTP signature Friendica is reporting. But you should repair this nonetheless.

I have a VPS with Hetzner and the IP for that is 65.109.12.183 which I put in the A record.

I must admit I'm not an expert on these things and wasn't aware of AAAA-record.

I now tried to add a new AAAA-record. I'm super grateful for the help. Let me know if you spot anything that's not right about the configuration.

I still see this message:

I guess this check in ActivityPub\Receiver.php is failing:

I'm not 100% sure. But this shouldn't be a huge problem when it comes to public posts, since we then simply verify a post by fetching it from the original source.

Please have a look at the log entry you displayed above. There is a request-id. So please grep all entries with the same request-id. This might help to see the whole picture.

I got some debugging info. There is now an INFO message with "valid HTTP signature". But I cannot find the post in the helpers group.

The log for the request-id is pretty long. So I have stored the line in a file and uploaded it.

The errors are gone in the logs. Everything looks fine now. And we already sorted out the reason why your posts don't appear in the group. You need to follow the group. Otherwise your posts are being rejected. So please follow helpers@forum.friendi.ca first before posting to that group.

That's interesting. I've tried to post to this forum from my own instance. But it doesn't come through. From anonsys.net it was instantaneous.

I wonder what is wrong with my install.

Hi! I just set up a new friendica instance. When I try to follow my new friendica self (leanderlindahl@friendica-sverige.se) from my Mastodon account (leanderlindahl@social.folkdata.se) it doesn't succeed. The view of the Friendica account from within the Mastodon account is stuck with a "cancel request" button. In Friendica I'm never asked to "approve" the reuqeust to follow.

Someone told me that I am supposed to get the request to approve it in Notification -> Presentations, but nothing shows up there. Does anyone know what I need to fix for this to work?

(It's works great for my friendica account to follow the mastodon account)"
