An older Kyocera FS3920DN, working perfectly fine, along with the .ppd-file I provided CUPS with. 😀

@Ade Malsasa Akbar I have a Kyocera FS-1300D. Works pretty well with Linux.

I'd recommend something that supports PostScript or PCL and ethernet

Fed/Ex-Kinkos. After my printer ink because more precious than Unicorn blood I found that throwing a .PDF on a flash drive for the few things I needed to print and popping over to Fed/Ex to use the self-service to print them was more cost effective than buying ink for $75 given how little I print and how often cartridges would just dry out and die.

HP, Inc. writes #linux native drivers for their small printers and they contribute to the kernel. My HP printer has lasted 22 years.

you asked for my printer and I answered faithfully, but I cannot recommend it, the only good thing about it is that although it's very old it still works and printing is cheap

@Ade Malsasa Akbar I don't think the decision should be made just based on the brand. There are many different models, some of which may be better than others.
